Level 1

( Level 1 Northern and Southern Style courses are taught separately )

The practical expression of loving kindness can be traced to Thailand more than 2500 years ago from the Vajrayana or Diamond Healing Lineage of Tibet. Thai massage technique incorporates elements of mindfulness, gentle rocking, deep stretching, and rhythmic compression to create a singular healing experience. This introductory workshop is suitable for new students, Yoga teachers’ or practitioners seeking an alternative modality from a spiritual perspective. The course covers the basic concepts of hands-on healing in a balanced session as well as good body mechanics. At the end of this course the student will have hands-on experience in the five steps in preparation for the massage, including checking in and developing sensitivity to the Pulses of the Body. This yoga-derived system allows the practitioner or teacher to gain a three-dimensional perspective on facilitating and participating in another’s healing process. Please wear loose clothing; participants remain fully clothed for the process.

Level 2

( Level 2 is a Southern Style course )

The Level Two Southern Kata offers the most direct approach to the client I have seen in all my years of study. The full form takes approximately two hours and allows the best balance of diagnostic and therapeutic technique. In order to really help people with chronic pain, old injuries and energetic blocks, we learn to move the energy progressively through the body, working, systematically to connect the areas of blockage in order to help the client access lasting benefits. The progressive approach allows the deep work to reach into the joints through assisted Yoga Asanas. The body mechanics permit the deepest non-invasive healing and make it easy for the practitioner.

Level 3

( Level 3 is a Northern Style course )

The Level Three Northern Kata offers the most direct approach to the client I have seen in all my years of study. The full form takes approximately two hours and allows the best balance of diagnostic and therapeutic technique. In order to really help people with chronic pain, old injuries and energetic blocks, we learn to move the energy progressively through the body, working systematically to connect the areas of blockage in order to help the client access lasting benefits. The progressive approach allows the deep work to reach into the joints through assisted Yoga Asanas. The body mechanics permit the deepest non-invasive healing and make it easy for the practitioner. Healing sessions will be offered after class hours to help students to get experience with releases by witnessing and touching the client during the healing sessions. When we feel a blockage, we trace back to the source and also follow it as we move the energy out of the body.
